Chondrex Inc, was founded in 1996 to develop, manufacture, and market high quality reagents such as highly purified cartilage collagen and anti-collagen monoclonal antibodies in order to provide scientists with the necessary tools to study the pathogenesis as well as to develop and screen potential therapeutics for Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). Today, Chondrex is a leader in providing premium reagents for arthritis research to academic, biotech, and pharmaceutical laboratories and partners with AMSBIO to extend this offering throughout Europe. Chondrex also provides reagents for the investigation of other important inflammatory diseases such as nephritis and allergic asthmaa.
